Cramping with twin pregnancy?

I am 29 weeks pregnant with twins but am at the size of a normal full term pregnancy. I've been having small menstrual like cramps that have become slightly worse within the past few days. After a little researching it's looking similar to Braxton Hicks contractions that woman experience around the last six weeks of pregnancy. I have yet to talk to my doctor about it, wondering what other mothers may think.
